The Halytech Illuminator is a smart, standalone sports lighting controller designed for councils and clubs. It provides secure, self-serve access to field lighting and powered assets using unique PINs sent by SMS or entered on an optional keypad. Every session is logged automatically, making cost recovery and reporting simple.
With no need to replace existing infrastructure, easy installation by any electrician, and no ongoing subscription fees, the Illuminator is the most cost-effective way to modernise sports lighting.

How It Works

The Illuminator is mounted directly onto the distribution board alongside existing contactors and relays.

Connect via LAN or Wi-Fi using any web browser. Configure outputs, lighting scenarios, curfews, and user access PINs.

The unit automatically logs all usage and emails reports to council at chosen intervals. Data can be exported in CSV format for billing.

Clubs or hirers access their lighting by texting their unique PIN code or entering it on the optional keypad. Lights switch off automatically at council-defined cut-off times.
